Who we are

About One Love Sisters Ghana

Founded in June 2017 and legally registered in November 2019, OLS is a community-led organization committed to dignity, health, protection and equal access to opportunities.

Who We Are

Community-led work for safety, health and equal opportunity.

Our work is rooted in the belief that every person deserves to live free from violence, discrimination and exclusion. Through community-led approaches, evidence-informed programming and strategic partnerships, we strengthen access to health services, psychosocial support, safety and protection mechanisms, leadership development, research and advocacy.

Over the years, OLS has grown into a trusted organization delivering initiatives in SRHR, gender-based violence prevention and response, mental health and wellbeing, community safety and protection, leadership development, feminist movement building, research and documentation, and capacity strengthening.

We have also facilitated community dialogues, consent and healthy relationship education, cervical cancer screening initiatives, digital and physical security trainings, faith and inclusion conversations, and community wellness activities.

We envision a Ghana where every person can live with dignity, safety and equal opportunity, and where communities are empowered to lead sustainable solutions that promote health, justice and collective wellbeing.
